Audit log
Overview
The Audit log records configuration changes made to your AI Agent, giving administrators a chronological, searchable history of who changed what, when, and through which interface. Each entry captures the activity performed, the entity affected, the actor responsible, and the interface used.
Open the Audit log from the profile menu: select your avatar at the bottom of the sidebar, then choose Audit log.
Use cases
The Audit log helps you maintain accountability and meet security and compliance requirements.
- Investigate changes: Trace when a configuration was modified and which actor made the change.
- Support compliance and security reviews: Provide an exportable record of administrative activity for audits.
- Troubleshoot unexpected behavior: Correlate a change in your AI Agent’s behavior with a specific configuration update.
What the Audit log records
Each entry is organized into the following columns.
Activities
Activities describe the action taken: Created, Updated, Deleted, Activated, Deactivated, Invited, and Executed.
Entities
Entities are the configuration objects tracked by the Audit log, including Playbooks, Articles, Knowledge sources, Actions, Processes, Greetings, Handoffs, Proactives, Variables, Coaching, Test Cases, Simulations, Topics, Intents, API keys, Team Access, SSO configuration, and Session limits.
Interfaces
The interface identifies where a change originated: Ada Dashboard, API, MCP, Import, and Export.
View and filter entries
Narrow the Audit log to find specific activity.
- Date range: Select a date range to scope entries to a specific period. The Audit log defaults to the last 30 days.
- Filters: Build filters on Interface, Actor, Activity, and Entity. Each filter supports an Is or Is not operator and accepts multiple values.
- Search: Use the search box to find entries by entity name.
The Audit log refreshes automatically to surface new activity, and results are paginated.
Export entries
Select Download to export the current view, including any active filters, as a CSV file. Exports are capped at 10,000 rows; if the current view exceeds that limit, narrow the date range or apply filters before exporting.
