Installation

Overview

Install Messaging on a website or mobile app. Share the platform guide with the developers who own the integration.

Limitations

Messaging installation depends on the platform and the existing integration. Do not replace an existing script tag solely to change the channel name.

The legacy @ada-support/embed2 npm package requires a package migration. It does not switch through the hosted script loader.

Implementation & usage

Find your Messaging installation details in the dashboard.

To prepare an installation:

  1. Open Config > Channels > Messaging.
  2. Open Installation.
  3. Copy the AI Agent handle and the cluster details shown for your Agent.
  4. Open the appropriate platform guide.
  5. Give the guide and connection details to your developers.
  6. Verify the installed integration before you change launch options.

Developers must also configure the host application’s content security policy.
