Glossary is now generally available
Glossary lets you teach an AI Agent your business’s vocabulary. You provide the terms your end users use and the corresponding term you want said back. This feature ensures the Agent stays consistent and accurate across every language it supports and within a single language. It shapes both what the Agent says and what it looks up, including Knowledge, Playbooks, and other entities. You manage it entirely in the dashboard, including bulk CSV import.
What you can do with Glossary:
- Preferred wording and translations — Map what end users say to your official wording, across languages and within one, guiding both the Agent’s reply and its retrieval.
- Brand and product preservation — Keep official names consistent and untranslated, and normalize casual or outdated names to the official one.
- Definitions — Attach a plain-language definition (up to 1,000 characters) to a term to give the AI Agent business context. Definitions shape the Agent’s replies and what it looks up, and help it disambiguate terms that have more than one meaning.
- Voice detection — Flag terms so speech-to-text recognizes brand and product names in Voice conversations. Voice vocabulary is now managed in Glossary.
- Manage and audit with MCP — List, create, and update terms through Ada’s MCP server, and run a guided audit that checks the glossary against custom instructions, company description, coaching, and knowledge for conflicting or duplicated terms.
