This release lets you set when a website import syncs.
Changes
This section lists what the release adds or changes.
knowledge scrapeandknowledge sources updatetake--sync-at <hours>,--sync-days <days>and--timezone <zone>.--sync-attakes one or two hours of the day, 0 to 23, at least 4 hours apart.--sync-daystakes day names, suntosat, and defaults to every day on a new import.--timezonetakes an IANA zone, for exampleAmerica/Toronto, and defaults toUTCon a new import. On an update, a flag you leave out keeps the stored value. For example:adacli <instance> knowledge sources update <id> --sync-at 7,19 --sync-days mon, tue, wed, thu, fri --timezone America/Toronto.knowledge sourcesshows aSynccolumn that says when each website import syncs, for exampleevery day at 7:00 (UTC)ormanual. With--json, each source carries async_scheduleobject withhours,daysandtimezone.- Security fixes.
The options and the column appear when the sync schedule is on for your Agent.
See Ada CLI.
Choose when a web import syncs
You can now set when a web import re-syncs: the days of the week, one or two times a day at least 4 hours apart, and the timezone. Set the schedule when you add a website, or later from the source’s Settings on the Sources tab. A source that synced Daily now syncs every day, and a Weekly source on its weekday, both at 23:00 UTC, until you change the schedule.
Sync now and the Knowledge API sync endpoint work as before and do not change the schedule. The sync endpoint still allows one sync per source every 4 hours.
Knowledge API, MCP server and Ada CLI
This section lists where the schedule is available outside the dashboard.
- The Knowledge API returns
sync_scheduleon every source and accepts it onPATCH /v2/knowledge/sources/{id}. - The MCP server’s
edit_agent_configsets it on a website import, andlist_entitiesreturns it at full detail. - Ada CLI 1.2.0 adds
--sync-at,--sync-daysand--timezonetoknowledge scrapeandknowledge sources update. See Ada CLI.
