# Slower read-backs for Voice confirmations

Your Voice AI Agent now speaks more slowly when it reads a captured value back to a caller to confirm it.

## What's new

Read-backs are the moment a caller is most likely to ask "sorry, can you repeat that?" — a slower delivery makes order numbers, email addresses, and dates easier to verify on the first pass.

* **Applies automatically.** Read-back turns are spoken at the **Slow** pace, and your AI Agent returns to its configured pace on the next turn. There is nothing to turn on.
* **Only slows speech down.** An AI Agent set to **Slowest** stays at **Slowest** for read-backs; one set to **Normal** or **Fast** drops to **Slow**.
* **Applies to every read-back.** Playbooks Ask steps and Action inputs both use the slower pace.
