# New conversation topic fields

Multiple fields have been added to the Data Export API's [Conversation object](/data-export-conversation-object):

* `generated_topic_v2_desc`
* `generated_topic_v2_id`
* `generated_topic_v2_parent_id`
* `generated_topic_v2_title`

These support the enhancements made to conversation topics, released in May 2024, which improved the AI Agent's automatic topic classifications. That new data is now accessible via API. The older topic fields, `generated_topic_id` and `generated_topic_label`, remain available for accessing information about older conversation topics.
