# list_agent_changesets

Lists an AI Agent's change sets, or returns a single one with the full detail of what it changes.

This is the only way to see change sets — there is no change sets screen in the Ada dashboard.

Read-only. Use [`edit_agent_behavior`](/mcp/tools/edit-agent-behavior) to stage, promote, or revert changes.

* "What behavior changes are staged right now?"
* "Show me exactly what the pending returns-policy change will alter."
* "Which changes were promoted this week?"
* "Is anything waiting on me to approve?"

## Parameters

| Parameter      | Type    | Description                                                                                          |
| -------------- | ------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `changeset_id` | string  | Returns a single change set with every edit it contains. Omit to list.                               |
| `include_diff` | boolean | Used with `changeset_id`. Attaches a before-and-after comparison for each edit. Defaults to `false`. |
| `status`       | string  | Used when listing. Filters to one status.                                                            |
| `limit`        | integer | Used when listing. Between 1 and 100, defaulting to 50.                                              |
| `cursor`       | string  | Used when listing. Requests the next page of results.                                                |

## Statuses

| Status      | Meaning                                                           |
| ----------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `testing`   | Staged and still editable. Can be tested, promoted, or discarded. |
| `promoting` | Promotion is in progress.                                         |
| `promoted`  | Live. Can be reverted.                                            |
| `reverted`  | Was live, and has been reversed.                                  |

## Reviewing a change before promoting

Request a single change set with `include_diff` to get a field-by-field before-and-after view of everything it stages. This is what an assistant uses to show what will change before asking for approval, and it is the fastest way to confirm a change set does what was intended.

## Paging through results

A response that has more results available returns a cursor. Supply that cursor on the next call to continue from where the previous page ended.
