## Install

Scoop installs adacli and keeps track of the release for upgrades.

**To install adacli with Scoop:**

```powershell
scoop bucket add adasupport https://github.com/AdaSupport/homebrew-tap.git
scoop install adacli
```

If you do not use Scoop, run the install script in PowerShell:

```powershell
irm https://static.ada.support/adacli/install.ps1 | iex
```

The script installs adacli in `%LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\adacli` and adds that folder to your user `PATH`.

## Upgrade

Upgrade with the same method that you used to install adacli.

| Install method | Upgrade command                                                                                 |
| -------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Scoop          | `scoop update adacli`                                                                           |
| Install script | Run the install script again. If you set `ADACLI_INSTALL_DIR` when you installed, set it again. |
