# Ada CLI 1.0.0

adacli, the command-line tool for Ada, is now generally available. Use it to manage an AI Agent from a terminal or via a coding agent such as Claude Code.

With adacli, you can:

* Read and change Knowledge, Playbooks, and other Agent configuration.
* Search Conversations to see how your AI Agent answered customers.
* Review performance data for your AI Agent.

To get started on macOS, install adacli and log in. Replace `acme` with the handle of your Agent:

```bash
brew install adasupport/tap/adacli
adacli acme login
```

For Linux and Windows, see [Install](/adacli/getting-started).

Do not build an integration on adacli. The output of a command can change at any time. The [Ada API](/reference/introduction/overview) is the only stable interface for integrations.

## Breaking changes

* adacli no longer includes internal and unsupported commands. To see the commands that are available to your login, run `adacli <instance> docs guide`.
* `snapshot export` writes a `.tar.gz` archive. Use `-o <folder>` to unpack it, or `--json` to print the configuration.
* `snapshot diff` is removed. Run `snapshot import --dry-run` to check a snapshot before you apply it.
* `snapshot` no longer accepts `--mode`, `--exclude`, `--with-profiles`, or `--preserve-ids`.
* `snapshot import` checks the snapshot before it applies it. In a script, pass `--confirm` or `--dry-run`.

See [Ada CLI](/adacli/overview).
