# Trigger web source syncs with the Knowledge API

The Knowledge API now supports on-demand syncs of web import sources. Send a `POST` request to `/v2/knowledge/sources/{id}/sync` to re-crawl the source right away. The sync runs in the background. This endpoint applies to web import sources only. A source can be synced at most once every 4 hours.
