# Control multilingual Knowledge ingestion

AI managers can now control whether their AI Agent ingests non-English Knowledge directly from the dashboard, using the new **Multilingual Knowledge** toggle in the header of the **Knowledge** page. This setting was previously managed by Ada on request, and is now self-serve.

When enabled, the AI Agent ingests Knowledge articles in all of your enabled languages. When disabled, only English articles are ingested, and the AI Agent generates non-English responses from your English Knowledge content.

As a reminder of how multilingual Knowledge behaves once enabled: for a non-English inquiry, the AI Agent uses only matching same-language articles when they exist (overriding any Coaching toward English articles), and otherwise falls back to your English Knowledge and replies natively in the end user's language.
